“The exhibition ‘965 Minutes of a Girl’ is conceived as an illustrated film dedication to youth in which I have watched individual films many times. All the films in question feature interesting female protagonists and are therefore an exhibition and dedication to the notion of femininity and female growth.” – states the author of this special exhibition. Mima Juračak selected 10 films that were important to her, and 96.5 minutes represents the average duration of a film. So from the title you can read the minimum time that the author spent with films that are her inspiration.

She is engaged in writing and illustration and so far she has exhibited in collaboration with Barbara Tomečak – in the Sisak library and gallery of St. Quirin. Her short stories have been published in the proceedings of the Lapis Histriae competition and in various magazines and on various portals. She won the “Vranac” and “Ulaznica” awards for a short story in 2016, and she crowned her education with a degree in philosophy and librarianship and works as a librarian.

Her artistic, visually appealing and distinctive expression will certainly complete our film story, and we are happy to invite you not to miss the exhibition.
