Five documentaries will be shown as part of the competition program this year.
The festival and the first block of competitive screenings (August 29th at 8:50 p.m.) will be opened by the documentary short film “Hands: Triptych” by Slovenian director Kaja Rakušček.
As part of the fourth block of competitive screenings (August 30th at 9:20 p.m.), a documentary film about the sculptor Vojin Bakić, “Bjelovarac” by Sandra Toth, “Jer za to triba zapeti” by Jovana Lazin about grandfather Bogić who spent his whole life in the village of Vrnčani will be shown where he is engaged in animal husbandry, and raised his family on milk production and the film “ALIF.DO.RE.MI” by Alijon Jalilov.
The fifth competitive screening (August 30th at 10:25 p.m.) will show the documentary film “Sve uključeno” by director Marko Plejić, which shows advertising posters that share space with sincere obituaries at a bus station in a small village in Vojvodina.
