The competition program of the 11th Star Film Fest brings four films in the experimental category, namely domestic “Inversion” by director Matija Glavač, “Naglodane kosti” by Slovenian director Nika Karner, Italian “Tomorrow’s Body” by director Giulia Hrvatin and “CROCODILE” by Polish director Dawid Bodzak.

All films examine various questions about different aspects of human existence from different perspectives, so the film “Naglodane kosti”, which will be shown as part of the third block of competitive screenings (August 30th at 8:15 p.m.), tells the story of the character Lan and asks the question of what Lan will do. as his world slowly crumbles?

“Tomorrow’s Body” from the fourth competition block (August 30th at 9:20 p.m.) asks if we ever feel like everything is happening too fast, while at the same time nothing is happening, and “Inversion” examines the situation when we are pulled by a cybernetic error into a dream and how do we distinguish it from reality, and do we bring our deep fears with us?, while “CROCODILE” is a film about the need to fulfill hidden desires, which shatters the characters’ world from the inside. The films will be shown as part of the fifth competitive screening (August 30th at 10:25 p.m.).
