A total of 11 short feature films will be shown in the competition of the 11th Star Film Fest, and we present you the first four.

In the first block of competitive screenings, which will also open this year’s fest (August 29th at 8:50 p.m.), two feature films will be shown – “Šutim” by Croatian director Sara Horvatić, which follows photography student Barbara in preparation for an independent photo exhibition, and the Spanish “Sincopat” by director Paul Diggler, which tells the story of a creative director of a large company who is about to launch the latest technological revolution on the market: a device that allows listening to music directly in the brain.

The second block of competitive screenings (August 29th at 10:00 p.m.) also features two feature films, namely the Polish “Burial” by director Jerzy Czachowski, which shows “Poland today” – after the announcement of the almost complete ban on abortion. A man and a woman bury a chest in a random field, and the Croatian “Susjedne bubice” by Filip Zadro, which depicts cleaning a house with a faulty vacuum cleaner, which is like walking in circles.
