This year’s 11th edition of Star Film Fest brings discursive programs entirely dedicated to film and filmmaking.

On Friday, August 30th, starting at 5 p.m., in the shade of the Vladimir Nazor Promenade, as part of Small Film Conversations, you will have the opportunity to talk to the authors and learn all about the films in the competition program.

Saturday, August 31st at the Vladimir Nazor Promenade at 3:00 p.m., there will be a Masterclass on the topic of International cooperation on film projects. The masterclass will be attended by cinematographer and producer Jonathan Hall (USA), known for his work on films such as ‘The Beekeeper’, ‘The Hitmen Diaries: Charlie Valentine’, ‘Larry Crowne’, ‘The Last Sentinel’ and many others in which starred world-famous actors such as Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Don Wilson and Peter Allas, producer, actor and location manager Matt Easton (USA) best known for his work on films such as ‘Amp House Massacre’, ‘Malibu Horror Story ‘, ‘Khloe Kane: The List’ and ‘Archenemy’. Croatian producer Anita Juka, founder of the production company 4 film, will also participate in the masteclass. In a career spanning over 15 years, she has produced 16 films and 8 European co-productions of various genres, including feature films, feature documentaries, short films and recently a dramatic TV series. The conversation will be moderated by a young producer, Laura Prpić.
