The professional selectors of Star Film Fest, Martina Mladenović and Anja Kavić, have selected films to participate in the competition part of Star Film Fest. Thus, the audience and the jury will be presented with the 54 best films out of as many as 816 films from all over the world.
The authors of the film from Spain are in the lead with the number of applications, with as many as twenty-one submitted films. The Star Film Fest program also includes a co-production of Spain and the United Kingdom and one film from the United Kingdom. Our star list of films for the competition program also includes one film each from Argentina, Peru, Turkey, Slovenia, Russia, Denmark, South Korea, Lithuania, Israel, Singapore, Serbia, Germany, Brazil, Moldova, Italy and Guatemala.
The audience of the seventh Star Film Fest will be able, in addition to the already mentioned Spanish-British co-production, to enjoy other, high-quality co-productions. Thus, co-productions from the USA and Vietnam, France and Argentina, as well as those from Serbia and Portugal were selected to participate.
Two films each were selected from France, Iran, Indonesia, Colombia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia.
The number and variety of entries given the country in which the film was shot this year is truly thrilling. The organizers of the Star Film Fest are looking forward to organizing another world-class festival, and the prescribed protection measures will certainly be respected. Part of the program visitors and participants will be able to follow at the festival locations while part of the program is planned for the online version of the festival.
