The second day of the Star Film Fest, Friday, August 30th, under the auspices of the general sponsor of INA, at 9:30 a.m. in the Sisak City Museum for our youngest visitors, begins with a morning screening of the film ‘Garfield’.
We continue our socializing in the afternoon when, in the shade of the Vladimir Nazor Promenade, Small Film Talks begin at 5 p.m., during which you will have the opportunity to talk to the authors and learn all about the films in the competition program. A short break with music and a relaxed atmosphere will be provided by the traditional jam session at 6:30 p.m., to which we invite all musicians of good will!
As darkness falls, from 8:15 p.m. we hang out in front of the movie screen at the Vladimir Nazor Promenade with three competitive screenings of films in competition.
The third competition screening powered by SKY Cola starts at 20:15, and as part of it, 7 short films will be shown – ‘Only the devil hates the water’ (dir. Lidija Mojsovska, feature film), ‘5/3/0’ (dir. Danilo Stanimirović, feature), ‘HANA’ (dir. Fatlinda Hyseni, feature), ‘Vestige’ (dir. Yu-Hsuan Teng, animation), ‘Naglodane kosti’ (dir. Nika Karner, experimental), ‘Power Up’ ( directed by a group of authors, fiction), ‘Paumo D’amour’ (directed by Ian Halley, Nathan Hermouet, Luka Croisez, Laurene Vaubourdolle, Jade Van De Veire, animated)
Fourth competition screening powered by Erdinger starting at 21:20 also brings 7 films – ‘The yellow one’ (dir Itana Vukosavljević, feature film), ‘Tomorrow’s Body’ (dir. Giulia Hrvatin, experimental film), ‘Jer za to treba zapeti’ (dir Jovana Lazin, documentary), ‘ALIF.DO.RE.MI’ (dir Alijon Jalilov, documentary), ‘Bjelovarac’ (dir Sandro Toth, documentary), ‘The Ice Cream Timeline’ (dir Mateo Kos, fiction) and ‘(Un)lucky day’ (dir Karin Likar, animation)
The fifth and last competition screening of the year will end the film program on the second day of Star Film Fest starting at 10:25 p.m. with the films – ‘Pater Familias’ (dir Dina Uglešić, fiction), ‘CROCODILE’ (dir Dawid Bodzak, experimental) , ‘A letter you’ll never get’ (dir. Danilo Lazović, Jana Marinović, animated), ‘Draganov s(c)vet’ (dir Marko Vasić, animated), ‘Inversion’ (dir Matija Glavač, experimental), ‘Sea Angel’ (dir Tyler Dennis, animated), ‘All Included’ (dir Marko Plejić, documentary) and ‘L’Animal Sauce Ail’ (dir Ysaline Debut, Isa Cotte, Aurelien Duches, Camille Rostan, Clement Mouchel, Diane Mazella, animated).
