Get to know the actor Asim Ugljen, a new member of the jury of this year’s Star Film Festival.
1) Star Film Fest is intended primarily for young filmmakers, those who just entered the world of
film. What was your main motivation to start dealing with a movie?
Well, it was a love at first sight thing. I just like to watch movies. So I got it
a chance to act in one. And after that I decided to stay in the world of film production.
2) You are a member of this year’s Jury of the Star Film Festival, how did you find this role?
Mateo Pokas invited me and I said yes
3) What criteria will you take when evaluating movies?
Strict but fairly. ?
4) There are over 500 movies from 50 countries around the world, so how do you think how did we achieve a great response at this young movie festival?
It’s very simple. Availability of technology. Today a quality recording equipment
incomparably more accessible than ever.
4) Are there any differences in films with regard to the countries they come from? Would you somebody
advantage?
Of course, every nation has its mentality about art, and that is wonderful. No, I would not
gave no advantage to anyone.
5) What would you say to young filmmakers in the movie world?
Do not watch movies because it will ruin your interest in making them.?
