From August 26 to 28, the audience and the jury will be presented with the 39 best films out of a total of 526 received films from all around the world selected by our professional selectors – Anja Kavić and Martina Mladenović.

The number and variety of entries considering the country in which the film was shot is really thrilling this year as well. The largest number of submitted films came to us from Spain, so we will be watching as many as 14 Spanish films this summer. Films from Israel, Germany, England, Portugal, South Korea, Turkey, Brazil, Australia, Uzbekistan, France, Belgium, Senegal, Argentina, Switzerland, Russia, Iran, Northern Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia will be also  shown on our screen.

At the eighth edition of Star Film Fest, genre diversity awaits us – we will watch horror, comedy, drama, war films and terror, all the way to films that cover LGBTQ + themes, the issue of sexuality and women’s rights.
The organizers of Star Film Fest are looking forward to organizing another world-class festival, and a detailed program for the 8th edition of Star Film Fest will soon be available on the official website of Star Film Fest. The team of organizational stars of the festival continues to work tirelessly to make this edition of the festival as special and unique as any so far!

We invite you to book the dates of the Star Film Fest and join us in film evenings, gatherings and conversations under the starry sky of Sisak!
