This year, the guests of our music program took care of a good mood and happy and dancing evenings with good films. On Friday, September 2 at 10 p.m. in the premises of the Dutch house (Rimska ulica 10), the Sisak band Šarena pojava will present their album Ravnoteža.

The colorful phenomenon is one of those phenomena or bands that were conceived by chance – meeting in the late hours of a good party. Two guys from Sisak, Mirko Međed – a rocker at heart with many years of experience in the band Pištolj na gumene metke – and Dario Županić – also known as Župnik in the local hip hop circles – clicked on the first and found themselves in a joint project. Soon, they composed a string of songs with social, intimate-love and satirical-humorous themes, fluently sung and strengthened by the solid rock, grunge and punk soundscape. Their colleagues Matija Lović on drums, Valentino Žmirić on bass and Sven Tomanić on trumpet soon join the band, and the Pojava becomes complete. And colorful.

The dance rhythms at this year’s Star Film Fest will also be provided by the Zagreb band Munchmen, who will close the ninth edition of Star Film Fest with their funk-rock sound on Saturday, September 3 at 10 p.m. in the premises of the Dutch House.

Their music is often inspired by different genres such as jazz, pop, indie, hip hop, blues and grunge, and the line-up consists of Luka Brkić on drums, Tin Takač on electric guitar, Dan Devčić on bass guitar, Emma Hadžić on keyboards and lead vocalist Jan Karačić.

This is only a part of this year’s Star Film Fest program, and you can find all other and future information at https://sfilmfest.com/hr/. We will publish the entire program on August 16 and we are looking forward to spending time under the starry sky from September 1 to 3 in Sisak!
